Football, Anyone?

Trey and I met down in Mathis so we could take the truck to get a new fuel pump at his cousin’s auto shop. While down in Mathis, we trimmed some trees, watered the grass, and played a little football. First, you have to kick back in your chair for a little bit. Then do some watering.....finally time to play.











Trey finally had a chance, after four years of pleading, to get up on our roof and attempt to put a bird blocker on our chimney. So, that is probably not the correct terminology but I wanted something to keep the birds from nesting in our chimney. Hopefully, this will work. Our newest issue is with the tenant next door. There are wood ants coming out of the water faucet in the shower. Hopefully, they haven’t eaten all of the wood under the tub.

On another note, how great does it make you feel when your kid (or pet) comes running up to you when you first get home? Last night, when I got off of work and parked the car, Kennedy came running out of the house shouting “Mamma”…with a big smile on her face. When I picked her up and she wrapped her little arms around me with such delight it made any of the drama that happened that day disappear.
