Congratulations, Katelyn and Ashleigh Sablatura !

Kennedy and I traveled with Greg, Janice, Amanda, and Allison in their Whinebago to Celina to cheer Katelyn(Trey's cousin)on. Kennedy enjoyed not being buckled down in the RV, but still got a bit restless because she wanted to watch her "Wiggles" dvd. The Celina graduation was the best I have ever been to. The speeches and memories presented by the students were fantastic. Two of their classmates had been killed in car accidents so the students presented them with a plaque and sang "Just A Closer Walk with Thee". I also enjoyed how when the student would come up for their diploma on the screen would be a photo of them. Overall, it was just a very inspirational gradution. Kennedy had a lot of fun with the cousins playing with them, even though they are older.

On Saturday, Kendall and Wayne had a graduation party for Katelyn and Ashleigh(another cousin). We all had a great time celebrating together. Kennedy threw the biggest fit I had witnessed in a long time, but finally took a nap. I think she was just exhausted. On Sunday, we headed back home after eating breakfast in Grapevine with all of the family.

When we got home from the weekend away, Kennedy and I took a walk. She grabbed her stroller, Baby Sue, and her purse. I thought this was so cute!

A Weekend With the Boys

Mel and Jared had a wedding to go to in Fredericksburg for the weekend so mom and I tackled keeping the boys. On Friday night, I went over to moms and spent the night with Landry, Tyler, Kennedy, and mom. Tyler and I watched the movie Taken(which I enjoyed) and later that weekend the movie Slumdog Millionaire(another fantastic movie). I had not seen a movie in probably six months, so it was a mini retreat for me. Here are a couple of pictures of Tyler, Landry, and Kennedy playing Friday evening.

Kennedy wanted mom to sit with her in the bed while she watched one of her Baby Einstein videos. Next thing you know, all the kids pile in the bed to make sure they weren’t left out.
On Saturday, I took Joseph with me to Academy to visit Nanny and Papawa. Kennedy and Joseph had fun throwing the ball back and forth, climbing on the couch, playing the piano, running outside, having Nanny read to them, and swinging. Mom had taken Tyler and Landry to a movie while we were away. Our original plan was to meet back up and take Joe and Kennedy to Kiddie Acres for some fun, but we finally got some much needed rain and decided against driving into town.

Tickle, Tickle.....

Kennedy practiced reading Nanny's scrabble word book.

I just love this photo....

Run.....

Freeze....

Kennedy has discover that you can blow these flowers and make there leaves spread all over the place. So, she'll run over to them and have Trey or I pick them so she can blow them.
Monday, Mel and Kirk had us over for Memorial Day/my birthday. The kids went swimming and the boys cooked steak /played washers. Mel made a delicious German chocolate cake and homemade ice-cream that we all enjoyed.

Gracie wants someone to chase her...
