Frank Dodson turns 60!

Frank Dodson, Trey's father, turns 60 on Sept 6. We decide to get together the weekend before to celebrate with him entering into this new age. Happy Early birthday Gramps!

Frank with Kennedy, Emma, and Kylie(his grandchildren)

Kennedy and Emma,Aimee's daughter, enjoyed playing with one another. Here they share Kennedy's pacifiers.

Kennedy and Emma thought it would be fun to kick their feet.Oh, if we could just laugh like this by simply moving our bodies.

At the end of the evening, Kennedy decided to dress herself. Let's hope her color coordination will become better...

At Trey's grandparents house the same weekend as the birthday gathering, Kennedy found that she loved to walk in and out of the cabinets. Back and forth she went....

Daddy's Playday

Trey took Kennedy over to Leah and Clifton's house, the neighbors down the street, to play with their daughter Olivia. The girls have so much fun together!

Buddies........
So, coloring on the coffee table is o.k., Kennedy?

Look at those gorgeous blue eyes, Olivia has!
Olivia, jump in and let's see how far we can go.
What do we do now?

Wine 101

Trey is in the process of making his second batch of wine. The first batch tasted so yummy that he decided to make a 5 gallon water bucket full. First, he sucks the air out of the tube and lets gravity pull the wine from one container to the next. Mind you, the actual first step is to pour a glass for the two of us to sample. The bottom picture is looking thru the water bottle where the sediment is. Hopefully, the flavor and clarity of the wine will increase with age(not that it's bad right now)as we leave it to ferment in our fireplace. Who knows maybe someone will be receiving a bottle of Dodson Vino for Christmas.....

Kisses anyone?

We traveled this past week to Lake Mathis. Tyler, our nephew, joined us in hopes of fishing and catching the "big one". It poured 75% of the time so needless to say, Trey and Tyler only caught 2 catfish.

It was a good bonding experience for Kennedy and Tyler, who she has named "Bubba". She gave him many kisses and enjoyed his company. We ended up going to the Orange Grove Area Museum with Trey's uncle Tim.

It's raining it's pouring.....

The other day when it rained Trey took Kennedy outside to play. As you can see, she celebrated as much as we did for some wet weather.
