May 2015

August is starting to journal at school. She is excited about learning. She reminds me she doesn't have a learning list yet, but she will.

                                                         Someone loves when it rains.

Who knew a plastic bag could be so fun!

We got to watch August play on the playground while we were eating lunch with Kennedy. She ran around the driveway with different kiddos. She acts like she doesn't interact with the boys, but she was playing a lot with all of them.

We went to Kennedy's birthday celebration at school. Trey shared snippets of events throughout her 8 years here on this earth. We are so proud of the young woman she is becoming. She received compliments from her classmates such as: good student, includes everyone on the playground, getting better at checker board, good citizen, nice, and so on. She was ecstatic that after lunch she was able to go home with us.

After going to see Connor in Alice in Wonderland play she wants to join the theater class next year.

Trey, Eric, John, and Byron road the Shiner Gasp from McMahan to Shiner. Laquaina and I meet up with them at the brewery.

Alexis 13 months, grinds her teeth(top and bottom). Full of energy and loves her baby dolls.

I have some photos of Kennedy and August in this dress. Alexis is a wonderful combination of the two of them.

I got my golden ticket to Tracy and Steve's Halloween party.

For my birthday, we went and did Ifly, Spartan Race, and then Trey surprised me a birthday party. At IFLY, Bruce, Tracy, Trey, Mel, Robin, and I all did it. It was awesome. Dad paid extra so we could go to the top of the tunnel, which made it worth everything.

Next we went to the Spartan Race in Burnet. It was a 5 ½ mile obstacle course. At one point,  Mel went to get on my leg to boost her over the wall and my leg gave out, She peed cause she was laughing while Trey was trying to shove her over the wall. There were lots of heights, barbe wire rolls, spear throwing, group burpes, rope climbs,  and jumping fire …  but together as a team we finished! It took 2 hours and 37 minutes to complete. Kirk, Cari, Rhonda, Mel, Trey, and I are SPARTAN’S!

Trey and Mel planned a 40th surprise party for me. Kara, Melissa, Tracy, Becky and their spouses were all there to scream surprise.  I greatly appreciated Trey thinking of me and putting the effort forth to contacting my friends that he knew I would want to be there(although a few couldn’t show). It was great catching up and I appreciate Sherry watching the kiddos so that Trey and I could celebrate and early 40th. I hope it brings much adventure, good health, new beginnings, travel, and contentment.
