November 2013

The girls and I went to Little River – Academy to watch Papaw do the coin toss at the Troy vs Academy game.  The school presented Papaw with a 20th Anniversary football field plaque honoring the day that the football field was named John Glover Stadium.  Mel, Lee, Dad, Robin, us, and their friend from Denmark attended.  They repeated how back when Papaw was coaching the farthest any team could go was to Regional’s. His team won 4 regional titles, 131 games won, and only 30 losses.  I am still marveled at the fact that years ago there was only one coach and now there are about 8 on the field.

One of our friends from the school, Martha Remley, sent these adorable photos of the girls to us.

Kennedy had her art exhibit. Robin and Dad came down to view her work. We were so proud of her and can't wait to display them at home. I couldn't help but giggle when Mrs. Zea sent us a picture of one of Connor's art exhibit pictures. He had signed it, Connor Dodson.

August had her first friend sleep over, Laylah. Both the girls had so much fun playing together. Laylah's older sister, Lillie, also stayed the night. Melanie and the boys ended up coming down to visit too.

Happy 9th Anniversary to my loving husband.

This is how Trey plays hide-n-seek with the girls.
