January and April 2015

It's chilly outside so we brought the rollers inside. Alexis enjoyed trying to push it in the kitchen

                                                          Time to make the sausage.
                                                        Anyone have any dirty dishes?

Watching the fire with dad.

10 months old -Feb. She shakes her head and says "no, no."Both of her bottom teeth broke the skin.   We took her to Augusts birthday celebration and she loved all the kids and started to play with the different school activities.

At CCD,  Kennedy got to go to the priest house. She said someone asked if that was alcohol and he said yes he likes to drink wine with dinner. She said his house didn't look big on the outside but on ce you went in , it was big and beautiful.

 Kennedy lost tooth  on 2/24.

Trey had taken the girls to Fal with him, here they help their dad fill the feeders by filling their skirts up with corn.

Kennedy found this Firefighter Frank card in one of her Old Maid card stacks.

The boys made the news at an Apartment Fire.

Alexis is going to have a wonderful immune system. She sees Curly drinking from this bucket, so she thinks it must be good.

Anyone up for some soil today?
                                                     Alexis Lovessss to swing.
                                                               Trey and Callen
Trey's ready for St. Patricks day.
This girl loves playing in the rain.

The girls got the cutest invitation to be in Ashley's in Brandon's wedding in the mail Lots of sparkles to clean up.

Fun times after gymnastics eating ice cream with dad.

Alexis ready to cheer the Aggies on.

I think I can fit in the Barbie house bed.

                                                                        Static time!

Trey's companion(sitting in the bucket) as he went riding around filling the deer feeders at Honey and Papa's.

Trey watched the girls while Carlie and I went to volunteer at the U.T. Football game for the school’s booster club. We made plenty of tips for the booster club and the girls had a great time playing in my makeup.

If there is puddle of water, Alexis is in it!

Beah had a birthday party. Here the kids are all dressed up.

                                                             Modeling after a haircut.

August 5th birthday party we had her select a couple of her girlfriend's to stay the night. She had a frozen theme party . You'll see the lovely food and games that we played. Overall, I think she had a great birthday. At her 5 year dr. appointment,  August was in the  90 percentile on weight and. 88 percentile in height.

A note from Mrs. Zea: Your sweet 5 year old girls came up with a new game today, it is called “scratch yourself with rocks to see if they are sharp”. They have lovely, long scratch marks down both arms from this little game.  Apologies, we did take the little tools away from them when they proudly showed up what they could do.

The other day August asked me why cars had tattoos on them I said those are stickers. August cried at a movie called Private Kate , she said mom it was just sad.

We had gone to one of August's friends birthday party where they had a clown. August told me when we got in the car, she knew he wasn't a real clown because the paint was coming off his ear.

Alexis loves to go in and out of the doggie door.

Here she goes hiding under the chairs at dad's and Robin's.

Cupcake and Pokadot, the two bunnies Kennedy is going to show in the short term rabbit project.

Trey and I went with Laura and Kenneth to see Brad Paisley at the AT&T center. Laura's dad usually gives them some of the Company tickets to go and they asked us. We had a great night.

Yvonne and Jeff invited us to their suite at the San Antonio Rodeo. What a great way to experience the rodeo. It was nice having a room that Alexis could play in and the food and drinks were a nice bonus too.

Jim was missing us so he came down to visit. It was great getting to catch up with him.

                                                             Practicing showing the bunnies

Tracy and Steve got this shirt for Trey. Thought that was pretty cool. Brad Paisley does a benefit for firefighters and this is one of the shirts.

Alexis loves to climb under the table and chairs.

Learning to balance on the trampoline.

The girls driving the cart while at HEB.

I'm officially one. Dig in girl!

Kennedy's first communion dress came in. Here she is modeling it. She is wearing my wedding veil.

March: Alexis is 11 months. She climbs on everything. She is able to climb the kitchen chair, girls table in kitchen to get to the desk, and climbs on Red rocker to get on couch. Alexis you are bound and determine to do anything we are doing . That includes eating. You are really doing well on your signs. You also slap your leg for dog, shake your hand and shake your finger out for no( Mimi and Kirk taught you that- they say "no, no" and you shake your head back and forth) , using the milk sign and more. You have figured out the doggie door. One day I was putting up clothes and came  back into the kitchen to see you banging on the sliding door on the outside to be let back in. You love to play in the plants and pull all leaves out. August loves to blow on your belly. The girls will be on the trampoline and lay down so Alexis can come blow on their belly. Alexis just giggles. You take any opportunity to look at the new rabbits. Trey put a bucket near them so you could stand and watch them in the cage.

We got rabbits. Cupcakes and pokadot for  Kennedy to participate in the short-term rabbit show. She did fantastic. She answered all of the judges questions and kept control of her rabbit. The rabbits have come in handy around our house since we planted our garden. What great fertilizer they produce!

Spring Break-Sherry and Kirk took the kids to the park by the San Antonio Zoo for a fun filled day.

Callen Hayes is here, born April 1. He's a sweetie!

Dad and Robin bought some sunglasses and matching dresses for the girls for Easter.

For Easter we went to Cindy’s and Frank’s. Frank and her did and exceptionally job cooking all of the food and providing plenty of entertainment for the family. The kiddo’s had fun Easter Egg hunting and then trying to bust a piñata that had bailing wire used as part of frame work. Adults even got a shot at hitting the piñata. Alexis enjoyed her 2nd(her first Easter Egg hunt she was just a couple weeks old)hunt. She went and picked the bat up to try her swing at the piñata once everyone had left. Cindy had made her a birthday cake that she enjoyed diving into.  When we got home we did our annual confetti eggs. The girls broke so many on the trampoline that after a good rain their toes would look like they were painted.

Alexis turned one years old on April 3. At her year apt, she weighed 20lbs, 29.25 in length, and her head was 18 inches. Trey said she has her papa Bill's head, mama has a big head too.

Alexis having fun playing her drawers.

No can is to big for this little girl
