Decorating Easter Eggs

Olivia came over the other day while her mom went to attend a Montessori class, which is wonderful because Leah(Olivia’s mom) comes back and shares all the info she learned. Since, Olivia was over, I decide it would be a good time to decorate some Easter Eggs. Generally, when I try to do anything artsy a bigger mess than is required usually occurs. This time was different. I let the girls both poor the water in the dishes, then the vinegar, we stirred the dye tablets with straws, and poof we had colored water to dye our eggs. We tried wrapping some of them, but that didn’t go over very well. The best result for decorating was sticking stickers on the eggs and sprinkling them with glitter. Once decorated, the girls both wanted to crack them. Needless to say, the eggs looked pretty for about five minutes.
