Our personal stories are a fragment of a larger story about our families and friends. By preserving a little history about ourselves from our accomplishments and difficulties we hope to shed a pathway which reflects our hope, love, and cherished moments in our lives.
Trey and I met at Melonie and Kirk Knussman’s wedding more than ten years ago. We became soul mates and married November 20, 2004. We have been blessed with two daughters: Kennedy Lynn born April 24, 2007 and Augusta Laine born on February 1, 2010. Since, their births, our lives have been filled with sleepless nights, a messy house, and masses of enjoyment. Watching their excitement in discovering and trying something new, smiling when you walk into the room, the hugs, kisses, genuine love, and pure miracle of life has changed the way we see the world – we must be experiencing a little piece of heaven.
We hope you share in our stories as we preserve our life’s history - living and writing each page one day at a time.
Since it took me so long to post, I have no idea all the stories I wanted to tell about this Christmas. Kennedy did great visiting Santa Claus. Gracie Knussmann went with us and the two enjoyed sitting on his lap and telling Santa what they wanted. Kennedy wanted a bicycle and candy. There was a train that Kennedy liked riding around in circles. I think on Christmas day she was a little disappointed because she got a tricycle instead of a bicycle. I think the bicycle might be something coming for her 3rd birthday in April. We blew up each evening and when Kennedy wanted it, one of those blow up Christmas characters things in our front yard. Kennedy liked going outside and giving each of the characters kisses. We stuck around Central Texas for Christmas, since the dr. advised me of traveling more than 2hours from the hospital. Looking back, I'm glad we were able too, since it would be the last Christmas we would get to spend with Nanny.
